Born in France, Pascal Lorenzetti comes from a Ticino family. He graduated from HEC in Lausanne, then began his career near Paris, working in the business set up by his father, “Franco Suisse Bâtiment”. He spent 10 years learning about different aspects of real estate development: land purchases, managing works, sales and marketing, legal issues and finance. At the same time he was already busy setting up and buying real estate companies.
In 1983, Pascal Lorenzetti became the chairman of Franco Suisse. He has since built 4,000 homes, offices, business units and hotels in the Hauts-de-Seine département near Paris.
In 2002 he founded the real estate development company Septfonds SA in partnership with lawyer Jean-Luc Bochatay. A year later he sold Franco Suisse to the French real estate group Promogim, but continued to work in real estate development throughout France, principally through the company Habitat Pierre Investissement.
In 2010 he handed over his French businesses to his children and moved to Switzerland. In 2012, he gave Septfonds a new identity: Pierre Etoile.
Nicolas Indermühle was born in the canton of Vaud in 1956. He graduated in Business Studies at the University of Lausanne and in 1982 set up the company Ipso Facto SA, specialising in the development of software for the textile industry.
In 1997 he built on this business experience to become an independent management consultant. He also joined Geneco SA, a construction company working for institutional investors such as UBS Fund Management.
Nicolas Indermühle became Director of Geneco SA in 1999, and in 2002 he decided to work with Pascal Lorenzetti to concentrate on real estate development. Their joint projects are sold under the Pierre Etoile brand.
Born in Paris in 1964, Laurent Manzoni trained in computer science before becoming a real estate agent in Bandol, in the département of Var. Here he became involved in developing promotions, sales and site visits. In 1994 he became real estate and finance advisor for Foncia, and was appointed national Sales Director.
In 2005 Laurent Manzoni moved to Switzerland to develop the Foncia broker network following Foncia’s takeover of the GECO group. He managed 16 agencies in French-speaking Switzerland and trained 22 brokers to implement Foncia’s strategy and philosophy in the region.
In 2011 he joined De Rham Sotheby’s in Geneva, where as authorised agent he was responsible for the Geneva – La Côte region. In 2012 he joined Pierre Etoile as Managing Director and partner.
Born in Lausanne in 1964, Jean-Luc Bochatay comes from a Valais family. A lawyer by training, he spent several years in Paris running the legal arm of Foncia, France’s premier real estate group.
In 1993 he and two other partners set up FBT Avocats SA, a law practice that today has branches in Paris, Lausanne and Geneva, 8 partners and 60 employees. FBT has a strong reputation in banking and financial law, contract and business law, and international financial law (especially Swiss-French), as well as litigation.
As Chairman of FBT Avocats SA and partner responsible for business development, Jean-Luc Bochatay has always been interested in real estate development (in part no doubt due to his family links with two generations of the Lorenzetti family). As a result of this he worked alongside Pascal Lorenzetti to set up Septfonds SA in 2002. Septfonds SA has become Pierre Etoile, and the two men have worked in partnership with Nicolas Indermühle to develop a variety of real estate projects over the past 10 years.
